2. Agent-Assisted
2.1. Registration and Representation
Users who are unable to complete online registration may authorize an approved Family Proposal Agent to submit their profile.
Agents may collect information through:
- Physical meetings
- Telephone
- Other digital communication platforms
Agents must follow the Family Proposal Agent & Candidate Policy and Code of Conduct and are responsible for protecting candidate information.
Family Proposal allows a candidate to appoint an Authorized Family Proposal Agent to assist with the use of the platform.
With the candidate's knowledge and authorization, an Agent may act on behalf of the candidate for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and the Family Proposal Agent & Candidate Policy.
An Authorized Agent may:
- Collect profile information from the candidate.
- Complete and submit the candidate's registration and profile.
- Upload profile photographs and documents provided by the candidate.
- Update profile information when requested by the candidate.
- Purchase or renew a Family Proposal membership on behalf of the candidate using the official payment process.
- Upload payment receipts for membership verification.
- Access and use the candidate's Family Proposal account for matrimonial purposes while acting under the candidate's authorization.
- Search, browse and explore other matrimonial profiles available on the Family Proposal platform in an effort to identify suitable matches for the candidate.
- Contact other users through the Family Proposal messaging system on behalf of the candidate where authorized.
- Assist the candidate in communicating with potential matches through the platform.
- Explain potential matches and share profile information with the candidate to help them make informed decisions.
- Continue assisting the candidate throughout the matrimonial process until the candidate withdraws the authorization.
2.2. Sharing of Candidate Information by Agents
An Authorized Agent shall keep all candidate information confidential and shall use such information solely for providing Family Proposal services. An Agent may share candidate information with another candidate or their authorized representative only when:
- both parties have expressed an interest in the proposed match; and
- the sharing of information is reasonably necessary to facilitate matrimonial discussions.
Agents shall not disclose personal information, photographs, telephone numbers, addresses, identity documents or any other confidential information without the candidate's consent, except where required by applicable law.
2.3. Candidate Authorization
By authorizing an Agent to act on their behalf, the candidate grants permission to the Agent to use the Family Proposal platform solely for matrimonial services purpose.
The Agent's authority includes activities such as:
- managing the candidate's profile;
- viewing suitable profiles;
- communicating with potential matches;
- submitting membership requests;
- uploading payment receipts;
- assisting with profile updates; and
- performing activities reasonably necessary for matrimonial services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Review and approve matrimonial profiles.
- Display approved profiles to eligible users.
- Provide profile search and matching services.
- Enable messaging between eligible users.
- Process membership applications and payments.
- Improve platform security and prevent fraud.
- Respond to user inquiries and support requests.
- Communicate important service updates.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Profile Visibility
Only approved profiles may be displayed to eligible registered users of the Family Proposal platform.
Profile photographs will only be displayed if the candidate has provided consent for publication.
Family Proposal reserves the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any profile or photograph that does not comply with platform policies.
5. Membership and Payments
Certain platform features require an active paid membership.
The current membership fee is Rs. 5,000 for six months, unless revised by Family Proposal.
We do not store full debit card, credit card, mobile wallet, or banking credentials.
Only the following information may be retained:
- Payment reference
- Payment receipt
- Payment amount
- Membership validity
- Payment verification status
6. Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored using secure cloud-based systems.
Family Proposal uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss.
While we take reasonable security measures, no online system can guarantee complete security.
7. Information Sharing
Family Proposal does not sell personal information.
Your information may only be shared:
- With other registered users through approved profiles.
- With authorized payment verification providers.
- Where required by Pakistani law.
- To protect the legal rights, safety, and security of Family Proposal or its users.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
Family Proposal may use cookies and browser local storage to:
- Maintain secure login sessions.
- Remember user preferences.
- Improve website performance.
- Enhance user experience.
Users may disable cookies through their browser settings; however, some features may not function properly.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Family Proposal may remove information in accordance with platform policies.
Examples include:
- Incomplete registrations after one month of inactivity.
- Approved accounts inactive for one year.
- Memberships not renewed within six months after expiry.
- Accounts violating platform rules or security policies.
Certain information may be retained where required for legal, financial, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security purposes.
10. User Account Deletion
Users may delete their account directly through their dashboard without contacting support.
When an account is deleted:
- The user's profile will no longer be visible.
- Personal information will be permanently deleted or anonymized where practical.
- Certain records may be retained where legally required or necessary for fraud prevention, financial auditing, or dispute resolution.
11. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and truthful information.
- Keeping login credentials confidential.
- Updating profile information when changes occur.
- Protecting their account from unauthorized access.
- Using Family Proposal in accordance with all applicable laws and platform policies.
12. Children's Privacy
Family Proposal is intended only for individuals who are legally eligible for marriage under the applicable laws of Pakistan.
Persons below the legal marriage age must not create an account or use our services.
13. Fraud Prevention
Family Proposal may investigate suspicious activities, verify submitted information, suspend suspicious accounts, or remove fake or misleading profiles in order to protect users and maintain the integrity of the platform.
14. No Guarantee
Family Proposal provides an online matrimonial platform to facilitate introductions between eligible users.
We do not guarantee:
- Marriage
- Engagement
- Successful relationships
- Compatibility
- Accuracy of information submitted by users
Users and their families are responsible for independently verifying all information before making any personal or matrimonial decisions.
15. Candidate Contact for Suitable Matches
Family Proposal may contact a candidate directly or through an Authorized Family Proposal Agent if a potentially suitable matrimonial match is identified based on the candidate's profile and preferences.
Such contact may be made by telephone, WhatsApp, email, or through the Family Proposal platform for the purpose of facilitating matrimonial providing services.
Family Proposal will not disclose a candidate's personal contact information or other confidential information to another party without the candidate's consent, except where required by applicable law.
16. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Any dispute arising from the use of Family Proposal shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Family Proposal may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be published on this page with the revised "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
